Resilient like an elastic band:
ADAPTABILITY IS WHAT BEST CHARACTERIZES CHANGE
It’s time to present the new fall/winter 20/21 collection and Davide Cenci tackles this particular moment in history with a combination of optimism and realism.
Being resilient may be unrelated to the many rules we have to comply with, and yet it’s something useful if we want to live this moment with an open mind and away from the old approaches; mental flexibility comes in handy when we choose and wear our outfits as well.
The keyword here is resilience: the large knot of elastic bands represents the flexibility and adaptability we want our mind to be made of. All of this translates into our great care for comfort, which is guaranteed by the use of the jersey fabric for some of our items.
THE KEYWORD HERE IS RESILIENCE, TRANSLATED INTO OUR GREAT CARE FOR COMFORT, WHICH IS GUARANTEED BY THE USE OF THE JERSEY FABRIC FOR SOME OF OUR ITEMS.
This special type of knit fabric is manufactured with special high-gauge circular machinery; it has played a leading role in past Davide Cenci’s collections, and it is now available in an updated version.
The jersey fabric is best known for its flexibility, and this is why you’ll feel comfortable and free to move while wearing our unlined jackets and blazers – even when buttoned up.
Our first cover’s outfit matches a light-blue, hopsack wool and cashmere double-breasted unlined jacket by Dal 1926 and a pair of trousers model Leisure with a drawstring and two waist pleats. Make the look even more comfortable with the sky-blue printed cotton jersey, open collar shirt and the blue suede and nylon Mick sneakers by Premiata.
