Houndstooth patterned outside, unlined inside:

A COAT SO LIGHTWEIGHT YOU ALMOST FORGET YOU’RE WEARING IT.

Originated at the end of the 19th century, jersey was initially not much appreciated; people merely considered it as the heavy fabric that the fishermen of the Jersey Island, in the English Channel, used to wear. It gained popularity in the fashion industry thanks to Coco Chanel, who started using it in her collections despite it was believed to be inadequate for the high-fashion context. Mainly used in wool (as in our coat), cotton or viscose, it has a honeycomb, slightly flat-knit surface.

In our cover, Davide Cenci’s creation is casual and highly refined at the same time and the design casts a different, bright and vivid light on jersey, which you feel like wearing even when you are in OFF mode or for an unplanned occasion.

SO EASY AND SWIFT TO TAKE ON AND OFF THAT YOU MAY EVEN FORGET YOU ARE WEARING IT.

This item never snags or loses its shape; in wool and cashmere jersey, it boasts a series of positives, first of all its elasticity that makes it particularly comfortable and easily adjustable to the body shape. Houndstooth patterned outside, solid colored inside, it shows superb craftsmanship: despite its length and the season it is crafted for, the result is a unique piece so impalpable that it is effortless to wear.

Lightness is the keyword here in the face of the winter temperatures and the frequent rainfalls. Like the shift of a light switch from ON to OFF, so quick you’re not even aware of it sometimes, this item is so easy and swift to take on and off that you may even forget you’re wearing it.
