Style consulting is in our DNA:
FOR NEARLY A CENTURY, DAVIDE CENCI HAS BEEN COMPOSING OUTFITS
The secret of a man’s elegance is not really based on the individual garments he wears but actually hides in his ability to mix them harmoniously.
Creating the right outfit naturally and effortlessly is a skill that may be acquired over time, but a certain flair for it is undoubtedly needed.
Davide Cenci has been doing it for you for almost 100 years now, selecting products and giving advice on how to wear them with good taste and pride; an integral part of our true style consultant’s DNA.
Everything starts with a wide array of items, both from our brand as well as the other brands that we carefully select and edit. Our experience gives us the natural awareness to mix and match the items for sophisticated and modern looks. It’s proper art; like completing a puzzle or using the kintsugi (literally, “to fix with gold”) Japanese practice to piece a broken dish back together.
FOR ALMOST 100 YEARS NOW DAVIDE CENCI HAS SELECTED PRODUCTS AND GIVEN ADVICE ON HOW TO WEAR THEM WITH GOOD TASTE AND PRIDE.
Let’s visualize a customer trying to choose among items with different colors, shapes and details: a single-breasted or double-breasted knitted blazer by Dal 1926? Dark blue or mélange gray? Shall the checkered flannel-cotton shirt by T.T. be open necked or button down? Which color of the cashmere gilet by Dal 1926: shall it be gray or burgundy? Or would it be better to go for a burgundy washed merino-wool double-breasted vest by Davide Cenci?
What will the final choice be?
Here our advice: match the grey ribbed, merino-wool natural stretch blazer with the red/blue checkered button-down shirt and the wide-wale washed corduroy trousers in the Leisure model with elasticized waist. Complete the look with the Beatles boots by Church’s.
This is a great piecing together technique.
